Our overall aim of increasing donations and income
to help meet our organisational goals has succeeded through a number
of recent initiatives and actions:
- Increasing our visibility by putting on public
events. This has included staging weekly adoption events at major
Taipei shopping malls and public fairs such as the Taipei American
School Spring Fair.
- Increasing our stock of merchandising to include
pet products, clothing, caps, mugs and other small items.
- Wide distribution of flyers and stickers.
- Current update of our website www.animalstaiwan.org
- Re-organisation of our volunteers (currently around
200 ex-pats and locals and growing every day) into dedicated teams
to cover Merchandising, Events, Publicity, Animal Education and
Awareness, Adoption and Fostering and Fund Raising
- Press coverage of our events in the local and
English speaking newspapers
- Expansion from Taipei to start-up AT organisations
in other major cities such as Taichung and Hualien
- Increased public awareness through local television,
radio and other media.

Killing innocent animals in the name of population
control is a dubious practice, especially since C.N.R. programs
have been proven effective and economical. Please take the time
to learn more about this issue, which strikes to the heart of AnimalsTaiwan's
mission here in Taiwan.
